Gebruik het op plaatsen waar het hout niet aan vocht wordt blootgesteld. ### Kopmaat van 35 x 225 mm en lengtes tot 7,8 m De kopmaat bedraagt 35 x 225 mm. Het artikel omvat lengtes van 7,2 tot 7,8 m, zodat je een passende lengte voor je timmerwerk kunt kiezen. Het hout draagt een PEFC-certificaat. ### Schaven en drenken als optionele bewerking Je kunt kiezen om het hout te laten schaven voor een gladdere afwerking. Hou er rekening mee dat de opgegeven kopmaat daardoor met 5 tot 10 mm afneemt. Kleurloos of groen drenken is eveneens een optie. Die behandeling biedt bescherming tegen insecten en schimmels. Zonder passende bescherming is dit hout niet bedoeld voor plaatsen met vochtinwerking. ### Epicea hout Epicea is het hout van de fijnspar, een naaldboom. Het heeft doorgaans een lichte, witachtige tot crèmekleurige uitstraling. Vurenhout is relatief licht en goed te bewerken. Daarom wordt het veel gebruikt voor timmerwerk en binnenschrijnwerk. Met natuurlijke duurzaamheidsklasse IV is epicea weinig duurzaam bij blootstelling aan vocht.
